Amnesty, given the current situation

 Everyone, lets look at the facts.  The US is in a financial hurt locker, and the solution is to throw money at the problem.  Meanwhile, its estimated that there are between 12-20 million illegal immigrants in the US at any given time.  Many of these men and women are working.  Are we doing the math right now?  If the government collected income tax on 12 million additional workers, its simple numbers.  That is a significant increase in revenue to both state and federal government budgets.  Now lets be clear, I'm not saying let everyone in the country, no questions asked.  We still need to protect ourselves and check who's coming across the boarders.  I'm just saying, it works for everyone.  The immigrants get their pursuit of happiness that this country was based on.  The US gets a greatly needed income boost, and who knows, the economy might even turn around, especially if these immigrants save enough money to buy a new house.  Just something to think about.
